I read the first two seasons of Dead Days and I really enjoyed them. However, this book felt like it was missing something. It definitely gets better as it progresses, but I was just a little disappointed. Saying that, it did not fail to entertain me and I still want to read more. Riley is more of a secondary character in this season and the story focuses more on Pedro, whom I am slowly growing fond of. Some of the best chapters in the book are in Pedro's perspective. It was mostly Chloe's chapters that lacked, because they are written almost as if a child actually wrote them. I get the intended effect - I get that it's to make it seem like a child's thoughts because she is young. But it didn't really achieve this, and instead it just made it a bit irritating to read at times, and looked like sloppy writing. On the other hand, the character developement is great. That's where his talent clearly shines. And oh my, some of the twists! Overall, if you're a fan of this author you'll probably enjoy it. But don't expect anything amazing.

This series is awesome! I feel like I'm watching a TV Show! I usually read a book or two in the series and then I get bored. I am not bored I've got to read what happens next. It's kind of scary thinking that something like this could happen and what I would do if this were to happen. It's hard to think about the loss of the people in your lives and the people you meet along the way if this were to really happen. There would definitely be evil people and people trying to make a difference. I love it
