Quick fun read about two friends that have been together since childhood. Both are phoenixes, & both of them know the risks of their magic is activated….what they weren’t counting on was the possibility that they might look at their relationships differently, from another perspective. The characters are fun and obviously have some unresolved feelings for one another. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cute story about a girl who loses her memories and her best friend who is helping her get them back. The blending of her getting her memories back and what she discovers because she doesn’t have them is very well done.

A friends-to-lovers romance Sera and Hugo have been best friends for years which is why they have been Phoenix buddies since they came to the Academy. When Sera is her memory, Hugo is there to help her recover but something feels different about their friendship. I enjoyed this sweet friends-to-lovers romance. They make a lovely couple. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
