Antonio Di Tecco is a qualified information system engineer and a Ph.D. in smart computing at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Florence, Florence, Italy, joint with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Pisa, and the University of Siena, Siena. During his Doctoral studies, he spent six months as a visiting fellow at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom, conducting research on recommendation systems for domotics. In addition, Antonio Di Tecco graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s degree in computer engineering (computer systems and networks curriculum) from the University of Pisa, and magna cum laude with an M.B.A. degree from the International University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain. Antonio Di Tecco's research interests span the intersection of diverse disciplines. In particular, this intersection encompasses the potential of affective computing to improve human health, safety, and well-being in smart environments. Indeed, his products leverage artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things to provide innovative applications that could improve industrial technologies' usability and quality.
