I really enjoyed this fun, flirty, and sexy shifter novella. There is instant attraction between Marla and Grayson but there are obstacles to their HEA, they will need to deal with a potentially evil cat and the danger from Marla’s evil sire to get there. The story includes sweet moments, steamy scenes, light danger, loyal friends and family, painful pasts, love, fated mates, and laughs. While short, the story also included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline.

She’s a vampire and he’s a wolf shifter. This is the first in a new series that takes place in Forbidden, Kentucky, an odd little town with lots of shifters and witches. It makes things a little funnier if you read the previous series but not really necessary to enjoy this one. It’s a cute love story with some not so cute characters. If you’re looking to escape for an hour or two this book would be a good choice. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Marla & Grayson She's settling in Forbidden with her single-chair tattoo shop. Hopefully. Right, she's escaped from her maker, a Vampire who makes minion vamps and keeps them in a dungeon. But Marla and her two friends/sisters have escaped hoping to build a new life from the monster who made them the undead. Grayson is a billionaire-shifter who likes to find businesses he can support and remake sharing the additional profits so both parties win. Meeting Marla is an even bigger win--she's his all he has to do is convince her. Her evil sire is after her. Grayson vows to protect her but it won't be easy. Evil bad guys, new friends, old friends, steam, humor, and a darn good read. Enjoy.
