I can't describe how is it amazing , I watched the movie many times and then I decided to read the book. If you want to read the book or watch the movie , really you should put a big box of tissues. Despite the fact that I watched the movie several times but every time it makes me cry , even when I read the book I know what is going to happen but I cried when I finished the book . Really it is so powerful and whatever what would happen it will always be one of my favourite books ever 💗

Before I rave about this book, let me tell you: It's 2:44am and my mother has been yelling at me to go shower and sleep for the past four hours. I started reading on my way home at 10pm, and I just could not put it down. I was really that captivated by the storyline, and by the main characters' charm. The Fault in Our Stars is a humorous, touching story about what it means to live. What it means to love. What it means to make your mark on those who live on, even if you're just dying of "unheroic" illness. And anyone who has loved someone dearly -- or even just WATCHED/READ someone love someone dearly (in movies, books, TV shows, comic books, etc.), would be able to relate to the beautiful words Green etches on these pages. This book is magical, not only because of the plotline or the characters. The literary references, the words of Peter Van Houten, and the author's philosophy on the world of fiction itself -- are all truly amazing. The Fault in Our Stars will have you laughing hysterically at some parts, and sobbing like your cat (or dog, or zebra; because you never know what pets people keep nowadays) just died at others. If you haven't picked this book up already, I really suggest that you do. 10/10, would read again. I haven't enjoyed the act of crying so much for a very long time.

To write a bias review on this book would be impossible, I am also suffering an affliction but mine is a secret by choice. I do not have cancer, so I could not even come close to relating fully with Hazel or any of the other fantastically created characters, I can only empathize. I find it difficult to get ingulfed in an intelligent book, with intelligent characters, because I am not intelligent (at least I don't see myself as it). But this book eliminated that barrier that is normally set because it is not only an easy read, but it is intelligent in a way that makes me feel smarter by reading it. The wittiness of the characters and the clever sarcasm has sparked a zeal in me that can only be described with as infatuation. I am indeed infatuated with this book. I started it at 9pm yesterday at work and did not expect much until I saw the author's picture in the back of the book. I had seen Mr. Green's videos on Youtube regarding the French Revolution and I must say, off topic from the book, that he is incredibly brilliant. After seeing his picture in the back of the book I was a little more excited because I could actually picture him telling the story of starcrossed Hazel and Augustus with as much passion as he educated me on Marie Antoinette. I could hear the story in his voice in my head and that made me love it even more, causing me to finish it in not even 24 hours. I love the witty banter, the easy and dry humor that you can't help but to smile at, and the way he is able to tell a story that gets you so engulfed in it that you can't put it down. I rate this book with 5 stars, which I normally would never do, because it totally 100% deserves it. But seeing the huge paragraph I have just written, and I could go on FOREVER, I will stop my rant and just say that I am now going to reread the book because it is amazing.
