About this ebook

Eternalism is the philosophical appeal of the restored gospel. It is the rational basis for understanding Christ. Elder John A. Widtsoe said, "The Gospel may be said to be the philosophy of Eternalism ... It is the philosophy that explains the whole of man's relationship to the universe. It invites the deepest study and the severest scrutiny." The previous Eternalism book discussed only the first three branches of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. In this book, we pick up where the previous volume left off and deal specifically with primacy issues related to the higher philosophical branch of politics. Mortimer Adler explained, "In discussing the philosophical branch of politics, we focus on the ideas we act on in governing our social, political, and economic affairs." So when we say "Eternalism Politics", we simply mean the principles of interaction between two or more people.

This helped me to understand how to navigate political issues while in a Church setting as well as understand the true meaning of "Justice", "Liberty", and "Freedom" in ways that make discussing all kinds of other issues clearer. I realized when discussing with others, seeking clarity over agreement can also be a 'win' for both parties.
