ಕಳೆದ ಮಾರ್ಚಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಕತ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಸಮಷ್ಟಿಯ ಸರಕಾರೀ ಭಾಷೆಯ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮಾನ್‍ ಸಿ. ರಾಜಗೋಪಾಲಾಚಾರ್ಯರವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮಹಾಸಭೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯ ಕೆಲವು ಭಾಗ ಮದರಾಸಿನ “ಹಿಂದೂ” ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ೮-೩-೧೯೫೬ರ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು. ಅದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನಗೆ ಇಂಡಿಯದ ನಾನಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಪತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್‍. ಎಸ್‍. ವಾಲಿ ಅವರದು. ಅವರು ಆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್‍ ಲೇಖನವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿ ಆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಹಾಯದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗೋಖಲೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ “ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೆಷೀನ್‍ ಟೂಲ್ಸ್ ” ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಟಿ. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸನ್‍ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯ ಸೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಔದಾರ್ಯದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಈ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ. “ಹಿಂದೂ” ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದದ್ದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದೆ.
