There aren't words to describe how much I dislike undisclosed cliffhangers. Ugh. I wouldn't have even started this book had I known. I've got to wonder too, in light of the other reviews, was this story split into separate books at some stage since 2016? Because they mention references not included in the version I read (not the least being, the story was "complete" :/). Aside from that unpleasant discovery... this book just didn't do it for me. The story dragged. The characters didn't really draw me in, and the constant labouring on misapprehension was repetitive without much progress in the character's journey I thought. No glaring grammatical/typo distractions, but I found the length and cut points of the chapters jarring. Explicit open door. This content was mostly ok, but felt a little cold at times, which was odd considering. Hope the characters live happily ever after, because I can't see finishing the series unfortunately. Ah well, for a freebie, better luck next time hey?

First I want to say that hate cliffhangers and I wish authors would stop writing them. 😔 Now that i got that off my chest, I enjoyed reading Cash and Rox's story. The storyline and likeable characters kept me captivated and turning the pages to the cliffhanger. Hence the 3stars.

Another great read by Blair Babylon! I very much enjoyed Casimir, aka Cash, and Rox's story. Love the vulnerability in Casimir, even though you see he's known for how many woman he's had, you can tell he has a sad story behind his actions. Blair showed us his pain he went through and you see why he is like that and understand him more. Love how strong Rox is and helps him see himself a better person and stands up for him. It is a standalone, no cliffhangers.
