An awesome read that is perfect for a cozy afternoon read. Very well written with a modern fairytale feel and with characters that work perfectly together. Crown Prince Nicholas is perfectly happy living his life carefree and wild. When tragedy strikes the royal family, he finds himself in a place he never expected to be, about to be the next king of his country. Isabel works for the royal family as a gardener. When a friendship blossoms between the two, Isabel knows she should stop things there but can't help being pulled in to something more. But she has secrets. Secrets that could be harmful to the Prince. This one is completely entertaining and I highly recommend it for everyone.

A really enjoyable read. You have Nick the unconventional prince who is forced to rule as king. His whole life is about turn upside down. Can he rule his people? Does he have what it takes? Coming home to Callanos he never expected Isabel. Isabel has some secrets of her own and wants to stay clear of the spotlight. Unfortunately for her she has gained the attention of a prince who goes after he wants. Nick won't give up on Isabel and his people, but when Isabel's secret comes out can he stand by her side even if it may cost him the crown? You feel for Nick he has so much to live up from how his father and brother ruled. The pressure is on then throw in Isabel into the mix things sure get interesting. Isabel has so much courage for what she had to do and survive. You just want these two souls find their HEA.

About the author

On her fortieth birthday, Robin Covington decided that having a mid-life crisis and finding a boy-toy were far too tacky, so she delved a little deeper into the "bucket list" and pulled out the long-shelved dream of becoming an author. Now, she spends her time writing sizzling romance where the hero and heroine can't keep their hands off each other.

She doesn't miss the boy-toy at all. Happily exploring the theme of fooling around and falling in love, her stories burn up the sheets...one page at a time.
