Tales from Couper is a short story collection set in imaginary Couper, Washington—a tree-filled city nestled on the banks of the Columbia River—which also happens to have the highest violent-crime rate in the Pacific Northwest.

Come take a peek at the darkest side of this deceptively charming town and glimpse the pasts of various characters from the Matty Cruz Adventure series, including Police Detectives Phil Bester and Hiram Dodges, Clyde Whitshaw, and even more deadly branches of the notorious Whitshaw clan.
