About this ebook

When, one by one, Sethran Kada’s friends disappear — all guardians of a dangerous secret — it’s time to worry.

Agent Kada is drawn into a desperate search stretching from rebel strongholds to the dangerous fringes of Commonwealth space. What begins as a rescue mission quickly unravels into something far larger: a breakthrough threatening to expose the secrets of Killian’s Maze, a hidden network buried deep within subspace itself.

A discovery powerful enough to reshape civilization.

Or destroy it.

As rebel factions close in and loyalties begin to fracture, Seth must decide how far he is willing to go to protect the people he cares about — and what sacrifices he is prepared to make once the Maze begins pulling them all beyond the limits of endurance and understanding.

There are discoveries that humans cannot handle properly or are too bold to even consider. Human history offers numerous such examples. Caelyn, Sethran's Delphian friend, learns about research by her partner that could completely change the rules of the game: anyone can be a Spanner. The implications are vast for the civilized world but also for the rebels. The story of this fourth novel in the series introduces us to Kada who, together with Ciela (whom he had previously saved from the clutches of the rebels), makes huge efforts to resolve this crisis, as well as a possible attack with galactic implications. The action is fluid and you won't want to put the book down! I wish you a pleasant reading. This is an honest review as an ARC-reader.
