Thomas Hunt has written, co-written, edited and contributed to books on the history of the American Mafia, including Deep Water: Joseph P. Macheca and the Birth of the American Mafia, DiCarlo: Buffalo's First Family of Crime and Wrongly Executed? The Long-Forgotten Context of Charles Sberna's 1939 Electrocution. He publishes related websites and moderates online forums. He is the editor and publisher of Informer.
David Critchley is the author of The Origin of Organized Crime in America: The New York City Mafia, 1891-1931 and numerous articles on Mafia history. Based in the U.K., he has been a contributor of articles to Informer since July of 2009.
Steve Turner lives in London, where he is a site manager for a refurbishment company. His interest in American organized crime started with the move, The Valachi Papers, and evolved into in-depth research. He has contributed articles to Informer since 2012.
Lennert van‘t Riet is vice director of an advertisement and sign company in the Netherlands, and has researched the American Mafia or Cosa Nostra as a hobby for more than ten years. His article contributions to Informer date back to 2012.
Richard N. Warner has been researching the history of organized crime for three decades. He is a moderator of several online organized crime history forums. He has been a columnist for Informer since February 2011.
