About this ebook

Set in the world of ice hockey, the story follows Nash Richardson, who has just started his second year as a forward on the Boston Bay Vikings' roster and wears jersey number 61.

After his run, Nash returns home expecting solitude but instead finds a beautiful, pregnant, naked woman—Maggie Hilton—in his living room. Maggie, surprised as well, explains she didn’t know her brother, Nash’s ex-roommate, had moved out. Unemployed and with nowhere else to go, she feels desperate, especially as the baby’s father is pressuring her to end the pregnancy.

Maggie is fiercely independent and dislikes relying on others, but she increasingly depends on Nash emotionally and practically. Despite reminding herself of their age difference and her pregnancy, she cannot resist her attraction to Nash or the comfort he offers her.

As the sperm donor ups his efforts to get Maggie to do as he wishes, he doesn’t count on Nash being in his way.
