Be warned, the main character starts buying slaves in the 7th book of the series. It goes on for several pages about him wanting a sex slave and being disgruntled when he can't find one. Then he instead buys two entire families (kids and all). Typical "happy slave" myth kind of stuff. Wish someone had warned me, so now consider yourself warned.

3 starts for 1 reason. I prefer Mangas before light novels and I look at the genre tab in about book section to see if its one or the other. I bought this expecting a manga due to the tags "graphic novels/comic, manga" it is not that. 1 image every couple 100 pages does not meet the qualifications for those genres. Other than that? An enjoyable read. And I know. I could have just downloaded the sample to check. But if information was accurate, I shouldn't have to do that.

If you like stories about cooking, then this is for you. Continually described in detail the preparation of every meal. It does get boring after a while. Will see if it continues in the next volume, maybe.
