Along with his best friend Topher and sister Amber, Gavin and his new two-thousand-year old charge, who he names Jobi, flee the museum, banding together to search for answers. As myths and monsters are brought back to life to hunt them down, Jobi must use her growing magical powers to save herself and her friends. Bets Davies has degrees from the University of Michigan, Mills College, and the University of Michigan again—this time staying in Ann Arbor, Michigan to live. She enjoys mixing together genres and sub-genres. She does the same with dancing. She lives with a protective macaw, a rabbit killing cat, an empathetic pit bull, and sneaky hound mutt. At the moment she is avoiding animal shelters and buying children’s toys instead. When not writing, she draws, and tries to remember how to play the bassoon.
