Holy vengeance Batman! This new story from R.C. Boldt had me from the prologue to the final page and left me breathless! This is the story of justice versus vengeance and how it's not just black and white, but many, many shades of gray. I was so invested in all the characters in this story, from the swoony Landon Lattimer to the cunning and strong Kennedy Alexandre. Many characters played such crucial roles in this story, but you have to read it slowly and I even went back to some chapters to make sure I didn't miss anything. I loved the air of mystery and intrigue in this story and when things become clear, it's going to knock you upside the head and make you want to read the whole story again, knowing what you find out! The chemistry between Kennedy and Landon burns up the pages and there were times I was clutching my proverbial pearls it was so smoking hot! I also admired both Kennedy and Landon's ability not to give up and to demand what they wanted and needed. Both physically and emotionally. I have yet to read a story from Ms. Boldt that hasn't absolutely blown me away with its originality. This story is another jewel in her crown of amazing storytelling.

The Silencer by RC Boldt is the kind of bone chilling, soul shattering and heart wrenching reading experience that makes this story one of my top 2021 read. My heart is racing, my soul is wrecked and I am completely gutted. This story was the ugliest, the strongest and the most beautiful parts of humanity pieced together.The story is so convoluted and like a game of chess. The author will push the curtain back just a bit and then close again to keep me glued to the pages. It was fast paced. Action packed. The suspense was maddening and I was losing my mind. And yet the romance wasn't shadowed at all! Kennedy and Landon's chenistry was instant and sizzling hot and like electrifying molecules were spread all over. ( I reviewed an early copy voluntarily)

This book has sensitive topics that may not be suitable for everyone. What a book!! R.C. Boldt has given us a romantic suspense that will blow your mind. It is a dark and emotional story about survival, vengeance, and love. Make sure to read Kennedy and Landon’s story.
