3.5 stars - a good book but not one of her best. I loved Leo, and Violet. He was so open and honest, sweet & loving. This was a well done second chance book. Ms. Jarrett's writing is great. Where I really didn't like the book was Serena's character which changed a lot. She used to be a strong, independant character but was scared, frozen and very negative in her thinking. I didn't like her at all. It took away from the story. I got an ARC of this book from the author and all opinions are my own.

What a perfect end to a fabulous series, I can honestly say I’m going to miss Dogwood Cove so much, it’s definitely my favourite series from this lovely author. 💞 Small Town 💞 High School Sweethearts 💞 Second Chance 💞 Cop 💞 Single Dad I absolutely adored Serena and Leo’s story so much, it was truly a story of the one that got away for sure. I really loved that there was no hate between them, just lost time. They had such a great connection and loved each other so much.
