About this ebook

Mia trembles as she reads the letter that arrives from Ridley Prison.

The man is a stranger. His words are desperate and passionate. He describes crazy acts Mia has never experienced or known.

A thrill zips through her.

Should she write him back?

She reads it again. Rope ties. Seduction. He longs for some other woman -- she must have given him a fake address.

Mia’s address.

She should throw it away, or at least return it. After all, he’s a convicted felon.

But his words gnaw at her. She’s never done anything dangerous. And no man has ever talked to her like this.

So Mia writes him, pretending to be the woman he desires.

It's her one dark thrill in her dull, solitary small-town life.

The man is in prison for another fifteen years.

It's harmless. She is safe enough.

Until he escapes.

This book was a sincere disappointment. There is no viable plot and no depth for characters. Jax's character was just plain ol' abusive and manipulative that was running consistently hot and cold, distrustful, and creepy. Mia's character was weak. She had no substance to her, just a boring girl with no emotional history, which is lame with dead parents and a dead guardian. Then, as she embarks this fantastic adventure, she just let's things happen to her. She doesn't actually do anything. Horrible book.

This book is a well written part one of a series with a cliffhanger. This is a story about Jax De Luca and his escape from prison and attempt to clear his name with the Vigilantes organization he worked for. His coded messages are erotic in nature and were sent to Mia’s aunt’s house. Mia being a virgin and just having lost her aunt to a heart Attack has no one. These letter stir something in her and she decides to write back to this prisoner who sends them. Not knowing anything about the coded message or anything of his world. When Jax escapes and comes to Mia’s house he thinks she’s a set up and this is just the beginning. Hot, exciting and scary all at the same time. I am so looking forward to the next book.

OMFG!!! I need more. So much more. I loved the story and the characters. Everything was fast paced and so interesting and intriguing. I am still spinning from everything that happened. I read the book in one going and I just wish that I had more to read. The suspense, the danger, and the high speed of the scenes are so captivating that I can guarantee that you will simply love it. The characters are so fascinating that I simply couldn't stop myself from loving them. Jax De Lica is dangerous, dark and sexy with captivating grey-blue eyes. He is also a convicted criminal who manages to escape prison with the help of friends. He impersonates every bad boy your mother warned you to stay away from. In a few words, the story is addicting. The moment you start reading you will just want more, and more, and more. I definitely recommend it but be warned, there is a major cliffhanger.
