About the author
馬克‧奧尼爾（Mark O'Neill），生於英國倫敦，畢業於牛津大學新學院（New College）。從一九七八年開始，馬克在香港、中國內地、台灣和日本等地為英國廣播公司（BBC）、路透社、《南華早報》及其他媒體工作。 馬克身兼作家、記者和大學講師多職，在北京和上海生活逾十六年，現居香港。他能說、寫中文（普通話和粵語）、法語和日語。著作包括Tzu Chi: Serving with Compassion、Frederick, the Life of My Missionary Grandfather in Manchuria（中文版為《闖關東的愛爾蘭人：一位傳教士在亂世中國的生涯》）、The Chinese Labour Corps、From the Tsar’s Railway to the Red Army及The Second Tang Dynasty - The 12 Sons of Fragrant Mountain Who Changed China（中文版為《唐家王朝——改變中國的十二位香山子弟》）。 張琨，自由譯者，現居北京。
