David Gaughran
Catalina Flores de la Peña's tongue got her in more trouble than any other part of her body, even though there were far more likely candidates. But when a storm rolls into her sleepy port town, she finds herself embroiled with a gang of adventurers, mercenaries, and prostitutes on a journey to free South America from the Spanish Empire.

A Storm Hits Valparaíso is an epic historical adventure starring two brothers torn apart by love; a slave running for his life; a disgraced British sailor seeking redemption; and José de San Martín, an Argentine general who deserts the Spanish Army to lead a bloody revolt against his former masters.

Praise for A Storm Hits Valparaiso:

"A work of sweeping historical fiction that captivates and entertains ... engaging and richly textured." -- John D. Glass, author of Legend of Zodiac.

"David Gaughran has woven a captivating story set during this dangerous period in South America's history. I'd happily recommend it to fans of the genre." -- Tracy Cook, Booked Up Reviews.

"A romping classico... it reminded me of Louis de Bernières."--SR Noss, author of Life on the Suburban Fringe

"An ambitious story of love and betrayal, victory and defeat. In characters drawn from real historical figures, the author delves into the politics of war and how battles turn on the smallest of details or the whims of a single man." -- JW Manus, author of The Devil His Due.

Deepak Chopra
Four of the most popular and celebrated books by New York Times bestselling author Deepak Chopra are now available together in this collection.

Buddha is an inspiring re-imagining of the life of a prince who gave up the trappings of royalty for something much more important—wisdom and enlightenment. This revolutionary journey has changed the world forever, and the lessons Buddha taught continue to influence every corner of the globe today. This is a new form of teaching for beloved Chopra and with it he brings us closer to understanding the true nature of life and ourselves.

Jesus captures the extraordinary life of Christ in this surprising, soul-stirring, and page-turning novel. Uncovering the transformational "lost years" that are not recounted in the New Testament, Chopra has imagined Jesus's path to enlightenment moving from obscurity to revolutionary, from doubt to miracles, and then beyond as the role of the long-awaited Messiah. As a teenager, Jesus has premonitions of his destiny, and by the end, as he arrives to be baptized in the River Jordan, he has accepted his fate, which combines extremes of light and darkness.

Born into the factious world of war-torn Arabia, Muhammad's life is a gripping and inspiring story of one man's tireless fight for unity and peace. In a world where greed and injustice ruled, Muhammad created change by affecting hearts and minds. Just as the story of Jesus embodies the message of Christianity, Muhammad's life reveals the core of Islam.

In the groundbreaking and imaginative God, the evolution of our highest spiritual figure is told through a unique blend of storytelling and teaching. By capturing the lives of ten historical prophets, saints, mystics, and martyrs who are touched by a divine power, Chopra brings to life the defining moments of our most influential sages, ultimately revealing universal lessons about the true nature of God.

David Gaughran
If You Go Into The Woods is a collection of two unsettling short stories.

The title story is set in Caslav, a small town 60 miles east of Prague, Czech Republic. Jiri Beranek is drawn to a nearby forest, captivated by birds hidden high in the trees. Each time he enters, his desire to see the mysterious creatures is checked by his fear of the dark. When he finally forces himself to go farther, he finds a new reason to be afraid. This story was first published by The Delinquent (UK) then selected by Short Story America for inclusion in their anthology of their best stories of 2010.

The bonus story - The Reset Button - is set in Stockholm, Sweden in the depths of winter. Linus Eriksson, a divorced bachelor living alone in his small one-bedroom apartment, is a man with a memory problem: instead of not being able to remember anyone, nobody can remember him. This story is brand new, exclusively available in this e-book.

These two creepy tales have a combined length of 4,000 words, or around 16 book pages.

Praise for If You Go Into The Woods:

"There are definite shades of HP Lovecraft in both stories... punchy, entertaining reads with a bit of mental gymnastics thrown in, you can't go wrong with this one." -- Jenny Mounfield, The Compulsive Reader, author of The Ice-cream Man

"Two very well-constructed and thought-provoking tales from an author I know I will be keeping my eyes on. 4.5 stars." --Heather L. Faville, Doubleshot Reviews

"This is the most professional design - both inside and out - that I have seen since I started reviewing at Sift. The writing in this story is top-notch. The writer has a strong, clean voice. He's able to sustain an air of mystery and suspense without it feeling cheap." -- Sarah Nicolas, SIFT Book Reviews

"I heartily recommend this masterful piece of work to any and all that thoroughly enjoy the art of the word, and especially to those that have a special place in their hearts for short stories, as I believe this to be a fabulous exponent of the genre." LE Olteano, Butterfly Books
