Talia and Dare are back. It starts where Deal With the Devil ended. I was on the edge of my seat glued to this book. Needed to know what happened next. Their story is still bumpy, but Dare is starting to soften that hard exterior that he has built up his whole life. Talia and Dare continue to go back and forth, but they do seem to be growing closer. There is deceit, lies, truths, lust, love, drama, angst and sone twists. I just couldn’t put it down and tried to keep scrolling when I finished.

So good!!! This is a continuation of Dare and Talia's story. The more they stick to their agreement, the more Dare's walls begin to break down. Just as they being to grow closer, the secrets, the plots, and betrayals that threaten them are increasing. The more Talia plays her part, which she is faking less and less, the greater danger she is in. Dare never likes to lose and never wants anyone touching what is his, so when Talia goes missing he will move heaven and earth to find her.

The complex tangle of juicy drama, jaw on the floor twists, sibling rivalry, avarice, steam, tension, and toxic family relationships continues to be woven into a wicked web that consumes you as it contorts your emotions and feels into a real tangle. That looming cliffy hits hard and once again, I am left anxiously awaiting the next book. I am posting an objective review of my own accord.
