About the author

Dave Clark retired recently from a managerial career in industry to pursue other interests. He has also worked as a land surveyor in private practice and for government, as an inspector on construction projects, and short stints as a blaster, bulldozer operator, hunting guide, prospector, farmhand, and grocery store clerk. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, pencil drawing, painting, gardening, working at his one hundred acre woodlot, and helping at a family B&B.

Dave has been writing for a number of years, but until recently has concentrated on non-fiction, writing technical articles for professional and trade journals. His articles have been published in Canadian and American profession magazines and in newspapers. He is a former member of the Community Editorial Board of the “Truro Daily News,” where he contributed monthly editorial commentaries to that newspaper.

Dave has been a member of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia, Romance Writers of America, and the Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada Chapter of RWA.

Dave is a Nova Scotian of Scottish descent, who now lives in the central part of the Province. He is intimately familiar with the culture and setting of his manuscripts, having worked on surveying contracts in those areas.
