About this ebook

The H.G. Wells classic that helped launch the time travel genre.

The Time Traveller, a dreamer obsessed with traveling through time, builds himself a time machine and, much to his surprise, travels over 800,000 years into the future. He lands in the year 802701: the world has been transformed by a society living in apparent harmony and bliss, but as the Traveler stays in the future he discovers a hidden barbaric and depraved subterranean class.

The Time Machine inspired the international bestseller The Map of Time by Félix J. Palma. As a gift to our readers, we are including the first three chapters of The Map of Time in this ebook edition.

things that are free should never have to give a C-card. I also noticed in the similar area. that book "The Time Machine" is listed there but for 12.99$. so no thanks I learnt long long ago if it says it free and you have to give a C-card Don't.. AOL was a good example of that. free trail but would bill you even if you closed the account before the month was up. but anyway if it free (I am speaking to you Google Play) then you shouldn't have to give any info at all if you wish. I never tryed google play till now. but I will never use it because of this. I use giftcard style Ccards but you will never see any of that. I'll go else where for books. and besides i just remember I own a real copy of this book in paperback.

Not free. Not everyone has a credit card. Some of us KNOW BETTER. Uinstalling this DISHONEST app. When will they learn? Besides I used to work for credit card company and we all considered anyone who owns a credit card to be a moron. Knowing what I know about credit card companies now I would never own one. credit cards are for morons guess what you're the morons and you need to cut up all those cards and find another way to do business. Get your hands out of my pocket!

I am new to Google Play. I am an old fashion 47 year old male. I like my books in my hand and in paperback. I thought I would try Google Play Books for the convenience and download a "free" book so I can see how it works and determine how I feel reading a novel on my pc and my hp mini notebook. But I can't download the "free" book because a credit card is required. What do you need my credit card if the book is "free"? Hmmm, something smells fishy. Hey, Google Books Play, if something is "free," and you would like me to try it out, you should not require a credit card.
