10/19/2020- a good story and characters but the d.s. relationship seems skewed based on my observation in works by other authors of same genre. I feel that relationship missed the mark and instead seemed weird and sizzle quotient suffered. In addition the 3 person relationship didn't work for me somehow. For better representations of this sub-genre try any of the following authors: Cherise Sinclair, Grace Goodwin, Meghan March.

Jake and Adam are close. They do everything together. Work together, live together, even take their women together. And they've decided they want a woman permanently, together. In walks Serena. She is an erotic BDSM/Menage romance author. Sounds like she's right up their alley, right? Only, she needs their help. She has a stalker, and its getting pretty scary! Jake, Adam and Serena are great together, but they are all wary, each having been burned in the past. Lack of communications, jumping to conclusions, and stubbornness all play a part in almost destroying something that could be amazing. There were places in the book, that I just wasn't sure if there was going to be an HEA or not. I was pulling for them, but my emotions were all over the place. I was so frustrated by them at times. (I mean, I really wanted to smack those guys upside the head at times! What are they thinking!) This book is full of twists and turns, and I never knew what was coming next! The series revolves around a group that I would guess would be classified as PIs, so there is plenty of action and suspense along with the all of the romance and love I could handle. And the stalker! I never saw that coming! (No details, you're just gonna have to read it to find out!) This book was both fun and serious, meaningful, and light-hearted at times. I can't wait to dive into the next M&M book!

A good erotic read. When the bad guys were revealed it was somewhat of a surprise. At times I had thought I was sure who the bad guy was and then I decided it couldn't be them. At the end it was who I had thought of and had changed my mind. Good that it keeps you guessing.
