This Love and Friendship romance invokes strong emotions in readers as Ryan tries to win back Julia’s heart after disappearing from her life. Julia and Ryan are two strong, convincing characters that captures readers’ hearts and ensure that they want to know every last detail. The relationship is on rocky ground and due to some devastating past events which keeps Julia’s emotional turmoil at an all-time high which in return keeps readers glued to the pages and holding their breath wondering if this couple will achieve that elusive happily ever after. The story is fast paced and full of emotional suspense with friends adding support to each of the characters and when family issues add twist to the story which add to the intense emotions of the story, as well. The interactions between the couple and friends inspire readers with their closeness, loyalty and ability to help out during a crisis and the whole turning around of the family business adds a range of effects to the romance between Julia and Ryan. It is not necessary to read the previous book in this series in order to enjoy reading this one, but this one does make readers curious about it and the next book.

The good storyline and the well detailed characters captured my attention from the very first page and wouldn't let me go until I finished reading the very last page!

This is a very interesting story with a lot going on in it. It's a second chance romance of sorts. It does start off with a bang and keeps you hooked until the end. I did like the characters and the story.
