I enjoy the Riley Paige series, I like the characters but I'm not a huge fan of the writing. It's very repetitive the line "knitted their forehead" was used so often it became like a running joke in my mind. And it really puts me off the books, however I will be buying the 4th book and I do like the series overall, I love serial killer stuff, I just find it interesting how minds work, and these books too type into that, with chapters written from the killers perspective. Overall a solid book, worth a read

i love a good crime novel that pulls you into the story and keeps you in suspense as you are constantly trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together through the twists and turns trying to figure out who committed the heinous acts of violence and murderous rage as persons of interest are introduced and you are drawn into the psychological behaviors of their actions behaviors and demeanor they exhibit keeping you guessing and on the edge of your seat piecing together the clues hoping they lead you thinking you know who the murder is then another twist and suspense enthralls you once again and you find yourself feeling a sense of surprise when the killer is not who you expected leaving you in a state of bewilderment as you reflect back and the mystery and suspense drew you deep into the crimes committed took you on a rollercoaster ride of a series of clues and psychological profiles that consisted of theories created with details about the murder that consisted of details that ranged from minor to extremely well crafted details of the profile of the person they were searching for could be easily over looked by the reader that they experience a sense of disbelief that the murder wasn't who they thought it was and are in a state of shock because they didn't see what was coming ahead of time and the case was solved and it was a person who you never thought was the killer. This series by Blake Pierce is a page turner and if you like thrillers that consist of crime mystery suspense twists and turns and draws you into the story because of the thrill that takes hold of your imagination keeping you in suspense then i highly recommend this crime series. i get so into these novels that i can't put them down and can finish a novel in a matter of a day.

I was seriously hoping this would have been the best one, but I was left utterly disappointed. The actual story didn't seem to be start until I got into the 20th chapter. I felt like it was one of my mother's old soap operas. Lots of unnecessary drama compared to the first two. Gave three stars because once the actual book started it was pretty good.
