About this ebook

If you love sweet romances (PG-rating), look no further than Rachelle Ayala's Have a Hart series. The Harts are a family of San Francisco firefighters. Their family motto is: Heart comes first.

Fashion designer Jenna Hart's wedding turns into a media circus when her wedding planner signs her up for a reality show. Each week, the producers challenge her to keep her wedding on track while performing an unpleasant task or working with difficult people.

Firefighter Larry Davison wants Jenna to be happy, so he goes along with the reality show despite hating to be on camera. When the show digs too deep into his past, he has second thoughts about both the wedding and Jenna's celebrity lifestyle.

Will their ring bearer, Harley the basset hound, bring Jenna and Larry together to tie the knot in the season finale?

They say if your relationship suvives the planning of your wedding, the two of you will make it through anything. But, what if you have the whole world watching? Valentine Wedding Hound: The Hart Family (Have a Hart, Book 5) by Rachelle Ayala, narrated by Jennifer Groberg focuses on Jenna, Larry, and, of course, their adorable dog Harley. We are again invited to join the entire Hart Family in another unforgettable episode of their lives....yes, I said episode. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but when Jenna and Larry agree to be part of a wedding reality show, complete with a host who only cares about ratings, rather than the relationships of the engaged couples, their love is pushed to the ultimate test. You will have to watch...I mean listen...to find out if Jenna and Larry's love is strong enough to survive the world of drama, betrayal, lies, hopes, and dreams. This is Ayala's best work yet. Not only are we re-introduced to the characters we know and love, but we get to know them on a more personal level. By revealing each character's true colors, whether it's out of greed or goodness of heart, she brilliantly does so by putting them in a situation we are all familiar with...reality tv. As Jenna and Larry are tempted with goodies they've only dreamed about, secrets are exposed and feelings are hurt...but the show's ratings are thorugh the roof! Hmmmm....why is it we love to watch reality shows that clearly set couples up for failure and heartache? In the long run, is it better for the relationship to find out certain truths? Or, do these shows take it too far? Ayala takes readers/listeners on adventure of ups, downs, laughs, and tears, while keeping focused on the real question: Is Jenna and Larry's love strong enough to survive? The performance by Jennifer Groberg is excellent. She has narrated each book in the Have a Hart series and has made my overall experience that much more enjoyable. Her interpretation of the characters is perfectly conveyed through her voice, inflection, and tone, while the emotion she brings to the piece sets the mood. She has a way of inviting listeners to join her as an active participant in the storyline. She makes me feel right at home in each of the Hart family adventures. :-) I loved this audiobook and was thoroughly engaged from start to finish; I felt like I was watching every single part of the plot unfold before my very eyes. I often found myself questioning what I would do if I were in their shoes, and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. If you love a clean, thought-provoking romance that's filled with emotion, relatable characters, familiar situations, and drama that only reality tv can provide, this book is for you! It is entertaining and enjoyable both as a stand-alone novel and part of a series. With confidence, I give Valentine Wedding Hound: The Hart Family (Have a Hart, Book 5) by Rachelle Ayala, narrated by Jennifer Groberg 5/5 stars across the board. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)

I love the Have a Hart series and Larry is one of my favorites. He is a good heart man, been through so much and does everything Jenna wants. He wants her to have the wedding of her dreams so he goes along with them being n a wedding reality show where they have to take dares each week and they can be very humiliating. Jenna, I love to hate her. She is spoiled rotten and at times I think Larry deserves better. However, I think that makes the book all the better. There is a lot going on, it will make you laugh at times and sigh. Harley is always cute and adds a bit more lightheartedness to the story, Jennifer Groberg does a great job with the narration. If you are looking for a sweet, fun, sometimes funny, and all over good romance, this is for you.
