Enjoy this laugh-out-loud, steamy romance series by award-winning romantic comedy author Evie Alexander…

He wasn’t banking on someone else taking the reins…

Lady Estelle Foxbrooke is done cleaning up the mess left by her wild parents. She’s got a plan: take the reins and save the family estate her way. But then she’s saddled with a business partner she’s hated all her life. He’s her twin brother’s worst enemy and looms in her path like a six-foot-four hurdle.

After a catastrophic business failure, rich and successful James Hunter-Savage has watched his dream life in London crash and burn. Forced to ditch the city for the Somerset countryside, he’s now living with his parents and expected to work with the infuriatingly attractive Estelle. She’s sharper than a whip, pushes all his buttons, and seems determined to break him.

As Estelle and James jockey for position, their explosive personalities combust into passion, sending Estelle’s plans to the edge of ruin. With James’s flimsy reputation in tatters, and the biggest event on the Foxbrooke calendar on the brink of collapse, will they realise their love is worth fighting for? Or are their hearts and hard work heading for the ultimate fall?

This is the third book in the Foxbrooke series and is James and Estelle's story. We met sassy Estelle in previous books so it was great getting to know her better. James is also known to us as he is Estelle's brother Henry's arch nemesis. From the start it was sweet how James had totally fallen for Estelle whilst she cannot stand him. Some of her antics towards him were childish but so funny. There is no denying the chemistry between them, it positively sizzles. As we get to know them, we find their pasts are actually not dissimilar and quite sad. Both have major insecurities, so it was great to see them develop. I loved catching up with characters from the other books and seeing what they are up to. Estelle's family are so funny but cringeworthy and James's aren't far behind. Evie has done it again! Another fantastic book. If you like enemies to lovers, forced proximity and fake dating with lots of laughter and spice, then I would highly recommend this one to you.

I'm starting to think that I need to come up with new ways to tell you to read Evie's books if you haven't already. Maybe next time I'll do a little song & dance 🤔 Enemies-to-lovers may just be my favourite trope. I remember messaging Evie to say she would have her work cut out redeeming James after the way he treated Henry earlier in the series. I had every confidence she would (this woman hasn't written a man I haven't fallen madly in love with), but the way she goes about it 🥰 There is so much humour & snark as Estelle & James enter a competition of one-upmanship while trying to work together & bury the hatchet, possibly in the others back. But oh, the softer side to them both, the fierce loyalty, the drive, the passion. These two have it all. I could go on & on, but I need to practice my dance moves ready for book four. If you love dual POV, Enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, snark & sass, alpha hero, text messages, old friends & well written romance then read this.

Love this series. Absolutely loved James and Estelle's enemies to lovers romance. Lady Estelle Foxbrooke hates James Hunter- Savage .He has been her brother's enemy for years and she also hates that she is attracted to him. When they end up working together she is not happy. James likes Estelle and is attracted to her.The chemistry between them is explosive, but he knows she doesn't like him. He wants to prove to her he has changed and is not as bad as she thinks he is. Every time she thinks good things about James something happens to prove her wrong. She tries all sorts of things to annoy him with hilarious results.Loved Joy and Chester Estelle's dogs. I loved the banter and fights between them and was rooting for their happily ever after and could not wait for it when they got there. There were issues along the way,her brother, his ex girlfriend, their eccentric families ,but they sorted them all out. Enjoyed every single moment of this rom com.It had all the feels, laugh out loud moments, emotions, steam, chemistry, family, friendships, cute dogs, small village vibes, romance and a very satisfying happily ever after. Cannot wait for the next book in the series. I revieved an advanced review vopy of this book for free via booksirens and am voluntarily leaving my review.
