I Volunteered to read an ARC of this story. No payment was received. 5 Drum sticks is not enough. This story gripped me from the beginning and as I finished it I was not ready to say goodbye to Lauren and Tristan. I had all the feels while reading this amazing story. There was a point when I couldn't stop the tears from falling and had to put my kindle down since I couldn't read the words thru the tears. I have a thing for drummers and I want to find a Tristan for myself. He is everything any lady would want Loyal, Loves Hard, Hot, a drummer, funny. He knew what he wanted and he went after it. Lauren was a little slower in what she wanted and tried to push Tristan away. One Click this book!

Lauren and Logan are cousins. Tristan is the drummer for Kacen's band. A chance meeting leads to an instant connection, and shared texts. They become friends, but no one knows. Lauren assumes that because he is a Rocker, Tristan won't take what they have seriously. It's just one night. She tries her hardest to not get her feelings involved. But hearts don't work that way, and life doesn't always go the way you expect it to. Tristan doesn't know what he's feeling, or where it's going to lead, but he knows that he wants something with Lauren. However, life doesn't always give you time to figure out exactly what you want or how you want it to play out before its moving too fast to catch up. I love how Tristan does what he has to do to move Lauren around to his way of thinking. Once he made his mind up about how something was going to be, he just did it, no questions asked! I also loved how supportive, and patient he was with Lauren. SWOON! This book is one big surprise after another! I loved visiting with the characters from the other books, and catching up with their lives. Along with the surprises, there are a lot of laughs, and more than a few tears. Once again, Kaylee Ryan has given us an emotional read that is going on the top of my reread list!

Sometimes, you just know. Tristan Lewis knew the minute his eyes met the brown eyes of Lauren Andrews, she was going to be his. She'd need convincing, but he was always planning on showing how good they'd be together. I loved that about Tristan - his determination, love & dedication for Lauren despite her misgivings about their relationship. “I won’t stop until she’s mine. Until she accepts that she’s mine.” This is a quickly-paced, sweet, emotional story, with a bit of drama leading to an even sweeter HEA. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
