Another Mistake was a very quick read (88 pages) set in the world of Houston hockey team. I have loved this series; each book features a different teammate and their struggle for a happily ever after with no 2 books the same. This one spotlights Naomi's sister Emilia and the rookie goalie Evan. Though it is a short book, Alexa Padgett has placed all the ingredients of her signature writing in Another Mistake. I just wish there had been more! 4 stars

A gala event finds Mimi tripping on an open area on the floor and Evan a rookie goalie catches her from falling. This turns into a publicity event for the team. This is a very enjoyable novel with Mimi and Evan.
