Fantastic start to a new series that revolves around the students of Valley U. I have loved the other books from this author that have given us great characters and they focused on the guys living on campus but this new series is so much more. It is still giving us the guys and all their glory but we get a look at the other students at Valley that are not part of the popular crowd and hanging out with the jocks. This is another side of college life that is actually for the majority and it was so well written and the characters are well thought out. This gives us the inside to the smart, shy girls that just want to fit in. Daisy is so shy and quiet and yearns from afar to be part of the party scene that happens next door. Especially to the handsome and rather quiet hockey player, Liam. He seems perfect to her but there is no way she could ever approach him. When she is forced to work with both Liam and his friend Jordan in class she learns a lot more than what is taught in class. Jordan is the typical hot jock on campus that is the party king. He is all about the hookups but would never consider settling down, especially with a girl like Daisy. When his buddy is out of sorts on his game and Jordan thinks Daisy would be a bad distraction for him, then he concocts a plan to keep them apart but in doing so he finds he wants the sweet and quiet Daisy for himself. Again, this book is really well written and the characters are all thought out and it will keep you guessing at times and entertained throughout. I was hooked from the very beginning and loved it all the way to the last page. I want more of these characters and can't wait for the next book. I would give this book more than 5 stars if it was possible. One of my favorite reads this year. Side note, this is a book about college aged students but I will tell you I am 57 and the story is so well written and the characters are so interesting this is a book that all adults will enjoy regardless of your age. I highly recommend this book.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a really fun, hot, sexy and addicting romance with a tiny love triangle and a small amount of Angst. It takes place at Valley U but its a whole new group, this time women who are called the wall flowers and live in a house off campus and next door to the White House. This is a story about three people who are in a college science class, Liam, Jordan and Daisy. Daisy likes Liam and he sort of likes her, Jordan doesn't like anyone he just wants to get them together because watching them is kind of painful, because Jordan is a hockey playing major player at Valley U. Daisy is a shy woman who has a major crush on Liam and she hits the jackpot when they end up as lab partners. He seem like the perfect guy for her except that he makes no moves. So Jordan tries to help her out and well that's when he finds out how awesome Daisy is. This was an awesome story. It is fun and a hilarious triangle that is very low on angst. Jordan does some really crazy things because he likes Daisy but doesn't want Daisy to realize it. It was such an original storyline and I really loved it so much. I am loving this Wallflower series and cannot wait for whose story is next.

I spent an afternoon and part of an evening with Jordan and Daisy in my ear. Well, technically the voices of Lee Samuels and Emma Wilder as Jordan and Daisy, and Rebecca Jenshak couldn't have chosen any better in my opinion. I've listened to both several times, and I love that they both give such great performances that it's like you're hearing the characters. The story was engaging in its own right, and paired with two great narrators, it's so easy to fall into the story and get invested in the characters. The story is a friends to lovers, opposites attract romance, and I loved how the author built this relationship. Jordan and Daisy have such good chemistry, and even though it's been a hot minute or two since I was that age, I remember all those feelings very well - how dramatic it can all be. Rebecca Jenshak is spot on with the characters, the setting - all of it. What's even better than this being an impossible-to-hit-pause listen is that it's the first in a new series. So, we get to visit these characters and this world again. With a whole cast of characters that practically leap off the page, I can't wait to see who's next. From the end of this one, I have a pretty good guess who that will be, and it should prove to be loads of fun.
