The writing is a little too corny for me. Top tier art direction is a definite plus. But with the poorly written dialogue and plot devices it falls short. When you use the words super hero and super villian in a modern day comic book it seems kinda out of place. Even the fact that EVERY super villian randomly deciding to join efforts to destroy every super premise is weak. I seemed like a story written off one idea and they just went with it.

Listed as 244 pages. Contains an excessive number of filler pages, recaps, credits, pages that say only "turn this page". Also, centre-page spread panels would not display on a single, portrait oriented screen -- they are instead split up and "paired" with the page before and after. Not at all a well-composed electronic comic. Story was so-so. Abbreviated, lacked details or much in the way of epic fights.

The story is a 'must read' and the art great! At $4.99 it is a great purchase from any comic retailer besides Google. Google Play Books ruins comic formatting. This book had extra blank pages with a Wolverine watermark throughout. This screws up the pagination and sequential pages that should be viewed as a spread cannot be. This is the last comic I will purchase from Google unless you can provide a format that I can view in a third party reader.
