This book is finally helped me make a real difference in achieving and maintaining my fat, muscle building goals and lifestlye goals into what I want. The explinations are simple and basic enough while still providing enough technical information with links to the detailed studies which allowed me to really absorb and compartmentalise the data into each area for easy reference. If you are like me and have spent some time looking around the internet or book stores (not magazines.. yikes) for any and all information to help you transform yourself quickly and efficiently without wasting your time and money... this book will do that for you. More than just a 'read through' I study it because the information is here is awesome and for someone like me making the first step and will help me build a solid foundation and the confidence to reach my fitness and life style goals.

Amazing book and so straightforward. Looks like I finally found the only truth in the world about building the body of my dreams (though I'm only starting). The rest out there or most of it is just wrong. Last year I started cutting fat (which came quite easy to be honest),but hell,I couldn't build any muscle mass for the last 6 months. Most likely because of overtraining, undereating, too little rest and a ton of other mistakes. Mike,all you say in the book makes so much sense when you breake it down to pieces and explain how everything works. Thanks for the knowledge and motivation that I was lacking before I read Bigger Leaner Stronger! 5stars!!

This has to be the best $8 I've ever spent in my life. I had been lifting for about a year with little to show for it, then discovered this book and actually learned the science behind muscle growth. After only 3 months on this program, I'm already looking ripped and have went up at least 30 lbs in every major exercise and have gained 10 lbs of LBM! Seriously, after reading this book, you will want to kick yourself for not having done so sooner. This author is really knowledgeable and tells it like it is. All of his ideas are strictly informed by science, not the usual gimmicks of the fitness industry. Follow his advice and you'll be amazed at the results.
