An exciting, action-packed story with a slow burn romance & found family. I like Wren, Locke, & the secondary characters who make up Locke’s werewolf pack, Wren’s ghost pack, & the students of her new academy for ghost weavers. These groups don’t necessarily get along well, & there are all kinds of challenges as Wren & Locke struggle to keep those they're responsible for safe. Very suspenseful with moments of humor & sweetness & a satisfying finish. Read the entire series in order.

I did not expect where the direction of the story was going to. There's suspicion, projection, anger, disappointment, and tragically, even death. You would think I'd expect it in a story filled with ghosts. Despite it all, there's hope, repentance, forgiveness, and finally, acceptance. I love this series. I received an advanced readers copy and am giving my honest review.
