DIANE MULDROW has written dozens of books including We Planted a Tree, a 2010 Chicago Public Library Best of the Best selection, and a Bank Street Best Children's Book of the Year. A lover of vintage cars, roadside diners, and old neon signs, Diane lives close to New Mexico Route 66. She and her husband Lou are avid explorers of The Mother Road. Diane is a member of the New Mexico Route 66 Association and similar societies. Her book EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED FROM A LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK has sold over a million copies.

ALEXANDRA BYE works as a freelance illustrator specializing in fun, colorful illustrations for a variety of media such as advertising, animation, licensing, editorial, and children's publications. Her energetic work is inspired by outdoor adventures, friends, family, and her flourishing New England community. In her free time she enjoys mountain biking, Nordic ski racing, trail running, paddle boarding, camping, Jiu Jitsu, yoga, reading, cooking and hiking in the White Mountains with her fiancé, Alex, and their dog, Oliver.
