I could not get enough of El Diablo II! M. Robinson wrote the kind of book I absolutely love getting lost in. We get questions I had wanted answered with respect to the feared Martinez family together with a mysterious kidnapping and a very unexpected kind of love story. Each page is filled with a myriad of emotions as Cruz Martinez not only proves to be his father's son in all things business but also when it comes to matters of the heart. I truly loved that Robinson includes the first El Diablo, the formidable Alejandro Martinez, as the true center of what occurs to his children. That he is still a viable part of the life he walked away from 20+ years earlier and that his sins become those of Cruz and Adriana. But what floored me most and had me completely riveted was getting to watch as Cruz picks up where his father left off and although he is as ruthless as his namesake, the love of the woman who would forever be his one way or another, made him much more than his both past and present reputation. The way he puts his Sierra first no matter what might be happening outside of their fortress of a home. That Cruz takes all of her hate, her sassy attitude, her denial of any sort of contact and still wants her above all else. He definitely has the patience of a saint, even as he becomes the next devil. With one primary goal that is at the crux of this book, Cruz and Sienna battle each other as the frustrations from not being able to solve a time-sensitive issue both tear them apart and prove over and over that they really are meant to be together. And what I absolutely loved above all else is how the Martinez women show their moxie and prove that they really are the backbone of this family. From Sienna's determination, to Adriana's endurance to Lexi's fearlessness, I was blown away by their perseverance no matter the situation. And believe me, this Martinez trio goes through more than their share of pain. El Diablo II for me was even more compelling than the first book, El Diablo. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough yet wanted it to last way longer after those last OMG words were read. Always leaving us wanting more, M. Robinson has written one of her best books to date and I look forward to what she'll bring us from this deadly yet fiercely-loving family in the future. El Diablo II kept me glued to my Kindle, enjoying every minute of this fast-paced and lust-filled adventure. The fine line between love and hate was never more evident than in the intense romance that is Cruz and his Sin and it is worth every bit of hurt they thrust upon the other. Despite feeling as if I, too, went through a bit of a war, I can't possibly love this story any more than I already do. It truly is THAT good and I happily give El Diablo II a huge 5+ stars!

Omg!!! This book was everything I expected and so much more, it captivated me , blew me away and I’m struggling to put words together than can do this book justice. If you loved Alejandro Martinez you are going to love his son Cruz because this man is everything his father is and more...... Cruz and his sister have been sheltered from the life his father lived but when his sister is taken, Cruz gets a quick induction into the darkness and he quickly becomes the devil, hunting down the kidnappers. But like his father before him there is one light in the hell he has entered and that’s mafia princess Sienna Luciano problem is she wants nothing to do with Cruz or the life he lives..... I’m not going to write a review full of spoilers because I believe you need to pick this book up with no preconceived ideas, you need to experience it first hand so I’m going to leave you with how this book made me feel. I was drawn it from the first page and this story didn’t let me go even after I had read the final line, it blew me away and stayed with me for days, I loved the characters, I loved the chemistry and I swooned and sighed a lot as I joined Cruz and Sienna’s journey. The characters are ruthless and do what is needed to get the information they need so Cruz does get blood on his hands and at times this book is brutal and at times is heartfelt, it’s well written and I highly recommend it.

I can't tell you how many times I set down my kindle trying to decompress only to immediately pick it back up because I had to know! The chaos was insane! The characters were so ... in your face vivid The need to push, to draw blood - visceral The desire disguised as hatred - volatile Cruz was larger than life - his character's presence was so powerful I could feel the energy emanating from him The take no prisoners dominance Sienna was his match in all ways. Fiery. Solid. It was her fear that drove her anger - this IMO was a turning point From the moment I entered their world, I was enraptured. I read this cover to cover without stopping - Well except for the moments I had to step back -breath, brace, only to be quickly drawn back in to begin the cycle again. The only thing I wanted more of was time with these two together. More time for them to develop their relationship. Time to know, truly know each other. There was so much going on I felt at times that they as a couple were secondary to the chaos. Cruz's duty, the need to find Ari, so much was in their path. This is standalone but interconnects with the other books in the series
