Really liked it. McManus is a very good writer, and he's obviously got an interesting story to tell. Poker started in the middle of the country, more French/New Orleans than English, then spread east and west, so it's got that colorful riverboat/frontier frame around it. Makes me want to play - nickel ante, dime raise.
