About this ebook

Jordana Braddock is a New York City heiress with a love of books and absolutely no say in her future. Trapped under the control of her ruthless stepfather, she is sent across the Atlantic—promised in marriage to a man she has never met.

The Earl of Ashburnham may hold a title, but his family’s fortune is in ruins. After generations of mismanagement, he’s left with one option: marry for money. He expects a business arrangement. What he doesn’t expect is Jordana, an intelligent, perceptive young woman who is fully aware that she’s being bought and sold.

Neither wants this bargain, and both know they are entering a marriage built on necessity rather than choice. As they uncover the kindness and courage beneath each other's defenses, they must decide whether they can turn an unwanted arrangement into a love worth fighting for.

This is a medium-steam romance novel with no cheating or cliffhangers, and always a Happily Ever After. It can be read as a standalone story, but you'll see many familiar faces returning throughout the series.
