About this ebook

Krissa Barnette has a secret.

When she’s upset, she can hear what other people are thinking. And when she’s overwhelmed, things explode.

A move to Clearwater, Michigan, gives her the chance to reinvent herself, but a fresh start is further away than she realizes. Her abilities magnify—making her a target for Crystal Jamison and the town’s circle of witches.

Even with new friends at her side, Krissa can’t ignore the witches’ magnetic pull—especially when a strange illness rips through the town.

If Krissa doesn’t push her fears aside, she could lose more than control. Learning to wield magic could consume her. Ignoring her gift could destroy the world.

Wild Magic, Clearwater Witches #2, available now.

I totally enjoyed reading this contemporary, teenage fantasy, fused with elements of science-fiction. This book is told through the point of view of the protagonists who have certain, strong powers that enable her to move and shake things, most of the time when he is angry. Bad circumstances force her to move to another town with her aunt in Clearwater town. This is where she learns more about her family history and how things are not as she had thought they were. While in a journey of discovery, she and her friends partake in an activity that changes time and everything, what will be the consequences of this? I enjoyed the narration, mostly about this book. Character development was top notch and the author was steady throughout the book, telling the story. As a reader, I was perfectly drawn into this not so perfect world. The suspense was enough to keep me going wanting to find out more and I appreciate the realistic in characters. I can’t rate it full stars because I came across multiple grammatical errors, like this ones: “doanything,” instead of “do anything;” “makeus,” instead of “make us.” Nonetheless, I recommend it to those who love teenage books and love science fiction and fantasy. This book is not be missed and already I am intrigued to know what will happen next in a sequel.

The story was getting interesting all the way up to chapter 3, I then decided to quit reading it, even though I'm not a published writer, in my opinion the GRAMMER is very poor, I was forever stopping & having a moan to myself about certain words that had been used. Mrs Freeman, cut back on the number of books you're writing, check each one carefully before you get it published.

If I could finish the book I would most likely give 5 stars, because I have enjoyed read the book so far. But I can't even get chapter 30 to appear to read. All I get is a white page. I scroll forward a page or two will see writing stop an the page tunes white. It's quote upsetting.
