About this ebook

A daring falcon shifter and a charming robin shifter meet at the Shifter Yuletide Ball and realise there might be more between them than mere attraction.

When Miss Emily Falnor decides to pay a surprise visit to her sister in time for the Annual Shifter Yuletide Ball, the last thing she expects is to fall in love.

The dashing Mr William Crestfellow never planned to be swept off his feet when he visits his closest friend, but the moment he meets Miss Falnor, he knows that he has lost his heart for good.

While Emily's sister seems intent on stopping the match, a masquerade ball provides the perfect opportunity for the two avian shifters to meet without anyone becoming wiser...

The Dancer and the Robin is part of The Shifter Season series of Regency-inspired standalone fantasy romances. It includes a lightly steamy m/f romance with Yuletide vibes, a falcon shifter who wants to live life her own way, and a robin shifter who she shouldn't be courting.

Dance through the balls of The Shifter Season in a series full of shifters, stolen moments, scandals, balls, and romance!

The Shifter Season is set in a secondary world inspired by Regency era England where shifters exist and engage in the social season. It is not intended to be entirely factual and elements have been fictionalised.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Emily and William are instantly enamored with each other and when they are confronted by her sister regarding proper behavior, they start their courtship. It is a romantic story.

There's nothing particularly wrong and nothing particularly right either. I've loved every book in this series until now. This one, I just like. It never grabbed my attention and I did have to fight myself a little bit just to finish it. Maybe I don't care for bird shifters or maybe it just seemed to repetitive. Please remember this is just my opinion. You may love it.

Squee! That was just so stinking adorable. Emily and William are so cute together. There’s something drawing both of them closer from the first moment they meet. Whether it’s Emily’s joie de vivre or simply the fact that William isn’t someone some member of her family is trying to foist off on Emily, really doesn’t matter. They recognize their Forever in each other no matter how badly cooler heads want them to slow down and think it all through first. Now, I desperately want to know more about t
