This book is so sweet. You can tell that Matthew Gray Gubler wrote this with love and from experience of being a Rumple. I was already a fan of his work on the TV show, Criminal Minds, but Rumple Buttercup shows a softer side to his writing while also being decidedly his with his own brand of weirdness that is his staple in his writing. Definetly a very good book for children and really anyone who struggles with awkwardness, paranoia, or something that makes them feel as if people will point and laugh if they see or realize it. Also good for people who want to help reach out to someone who feels like a Rumple! Overall a pleasant, interesting read the breaches the usual things seen in children's books.

I finally got around to purchasing this book. It really touched my heart. I have always felt like an outsider to the outsiders. Thank you Matthew for this wonderful gift you brought to life for those of us who feel left out.

I love this book a lot. It does reminds me that we are, all of us, are the same! Its a great book for your child and i recommend this book for before bed-time story! ❤
