The crazy nocturnal adventures of Magali the French marmot, and her sports-mad mountain mates!
Magali gets thrown out of hibernation and into a world of snowboarding! Why? Because Puppy Bébé went digging for cherries and dug her out without realising it.
'Cherries?' asked Chamois Luc.
Puppy Bébé nodded.
'Maybe you dug out some sleeping animals too, huh?'
The puppy shook his head. 'Nah!'
Henri Le Hare slapped his paws to his helmet. 'Dude, your brain's not right! You had too many crashes last season. I think you did something to your head that time. Keep your helmet on, please.'
The group of animals promise to return Magali to her burrow that very night, after they finish snowboarding, but they forget her.
The marmot must find her way home, but instead, she embarks on a fun and exciting journey of making new friends and learning how to snowboard!

Muddy Frank writes humorous children's action and adventure books for ages 9-12.
She lives in a ski resort in France.
'I see the Mt Blanc from my balcony every day. I love it because I grew up in Australia by the beach, so this is so different. I like the food that comes with the alps lifestyle; the fondue, the steaks, the mulled wine. Before France, I lived in the UK. Love the London markets. I also lived in Spain. Love the jamon iberico. I'm a fan of the south of France too, can't get enough of the colour of the mediterranean sea. Anyway..., I travel, I observe and I stash away ideas in my head, and then I sit in my mountain pad, and I write.'
