3.5⭐️ This is definitely one of those ‘OMG what did I just read’ books!! Elation, confusion and thought provoking is how I would describe how I am feeling about it. I finished this days ago and I still don’t now how to put all my thoughts together, but am going to try! First half of the book was incredible! The romance between Whitney and Caleb is one for the record books. Their connection, their passion from the beginning was devastatingly beautiful. The emotions these two share is indescribable. So many feels! I love Marni Mann. I will read absolutely anything she writes. Her writing is gripping, and descriptive. She has this way about her writing that immerses me into the story, immediately and When We Met did all of that BUT I have to be honest and say this one left me disappointed in the end. The book felt unfinished to me. The message portrayed in this book is deep and impactful and made me realize how our choices have the ability to impact us in utterly life-changing ways. Having said all this I urge you to read this book. It is a terrific story and one that will leave you breathless. I just really wanted more of a conclusion. Had it of had that it would have for sure been a 6 star read. Note: I received an advanced reader copy from Valentine PR in exchange of an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

This is the first book have read by Marni Mann but it certainly won’t be the last. This may be book 2 in the Moments in Boston Series but I’m prove this book can’t be read and loved as a stand-alone, that being said I will be checking out the first book as soon as time permits. This is Caleb and Whitney’s story, it’s an emotional roller coaster of a journey, it’s fill of twists and turns and there are many obstacles this couple need to navigate on the road to happiness. I’m not going to write a review full of spoilers because I believe this book needs to be read with no preconceived ideas, you need to experience it first hand so I’m just going to tell you how this book made me feel..... When We Meet touched me on so many levels, I smiled, I cried and I mean ugly sobs and I’m sure I went through every emotional possible while reading this amazing story. I guess all I that’s left to say is please one click this gem because it’s a tale that will touch you soul.

Marni Mann brings us back to that horrible event, The Boston Marathon Bombing on April 15, 2013, with an unusual spin on how one couple meets. Whether you believe in coincidence, fate, or serendipity, things happen for a reason, which is evident in this story. I loved this book, how Marni spins the tale, always on the edge of your seat waiting for the reveal of a twist to a real-life event, reminds me of what actually took place & the endless possibilities of what could've happened.
