***I was given an ARC copy for an honest review *** Connor Maxim is on the hunt for a killer who's targeting Caedmon and Arnou pack members. If he doesn't solve this mystery soon, the Feds will take over the investigation and the last thing shifters need is humans getting involved in pack issues. On a tip from a friend, Connor heads to a popular bar hoping to find some leads on his case, but what he finds is much more than he was looking for. Antonia and her twin brother Andrew also have business at the bar. It was supposed to be a simple transaction, hopefully their last if Antonia has her way, but things were anything but simple. The police shows up to conduct a raid on the bar, and all hell breaks loose. When Connor and Antonia meet under the most chaotic of situations , they both realize there's a something more than circumstances drawing them toward each other. Connor and Antonia's story started of rocky because neither one knew if they could trust the other, but the attraction between the two of them was undeniable. I definitely felt the chemistry between the two of them, although I felt the relationship might have been a little bit rushed. My favorite scene was when Antonia
Conner had never met a woman who made him feel instant attraction. When he laid eyes on Antonia he had a hard time keeping focus. Antonia was a twin and her brother had a way of finding trouble and this time he dragged her into it. When Conner and Antonia get together sparks start to fly. I love the book. It was well written. I suggest you read the whole series.
