He really is a fragile flower… I’m not sure how or why Nicholas got his rake reputation. As a married man, he’s an absolutely poor lover. So much so, his wife of almost a year is so bored, she’s rather read a book than lie beneath him. Louisa is great. She calls him on his S, knows there should be more in bed and demands it. You better step up, Nicholas.

I loved the way this story played out. Louisa had hopes for a better sensual life with her husband, Nicholas. Nicholas thought he was doing the right thing as expected by the standards of the day. With a little encouragement, he connected with Louisa in a more intimate and satisfying way. I enjoyed Louisa's ideas of intimacy were more than Nicholas had, but he wanted that with her. The idea of treating less than a wife and more like a mistress was interesting.

How to Seduce a Wife is a sexy but sweet, short but satisfying, story. Louisa is newly wed to Nicholas and is disappointed in the marriage so far. Nicholas is a former rake who wants to treat his new wife with respect. When he discovers that she wants more he pulls out all the stops to fulfill her every wish. This was a really great story and I loved reading it. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me at my request; my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
