After reading the hunger games I wanted more so I tried this book from the same author. This was a good book I dont have any issues with it but it was definitely geared towards a younger audience. They are def more kids books.

Alright, this book is just amazing. I'm not good at essay making, so I'll number it all off as to what I like. 1. The introduction into the world is interesting and hooking from the start. 2. The characters grow to be quite loved. 3. Imagery is perfect, I can imagine what's going on really well. 4. There were some scenes where the chapter ends with mega suspense, basically making me to want to read everything. There was only one con, and it was that I for some reason found myself getting annoyed with Boots a lot. That's not the author's fault, maybe I just don't enjoy babies but I don't know.

I wanted to read what my grandson was raving about, so I agreed to read the whole series mostly to please him. Instead, I was totally pleased myself! As an adult reading a young person's book, maybe my review doesn't qualify. But I found the books to be suspensful, well written, and 'make you want to read another chapter before stopping'. The only thing that left one hanging was the ending. Hopefully, Collins will find the time to write an epilogue to this series. Young people don't like reading 5 books and find you have to create your ending and neither do I. tiny.mama
