About this ebook

Welcome to Everlasting, Maine, where there's no such thing as normal.

Marcy Lewis is cursed (honestly and truly) which makes dating very interesting. With a string of loser boyfriends behind her, she’s done looking for love in all the wrong places. That is until the new firefighter arrives in the sleepy seaside town of Everlasting. Nicholas Logan is unlike any other man she’s ever had in her life. When someone starts sending her photographs that raise a red flag it soon becomes apparent that she’s not just cursed, she’s in serious danger.

Nicholas doesn’t know what to make of the charismatic young woman managing the local coffee shop. As a string of mysterious fires begin popping up around town, the two unite in search of clues as to who or what is responsible, discovering along the way that things are very rarely what they seem to be.

What a cute series this is! Written by 4 different authors, each stories is centered around the magical mysterious town of Everlasting, Maine. We have a Witch in the coffee shop, fishing tours are run by a Werewolf, a restaurant owning Werelion, supernatural hunter owns the antiques store and the police force is made up of twelve men who were hired for their good looks not their policing skills! There is mystery and hilarity afoot in this town!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Although this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone with no cliffhanger. Marcy has suffered from a curse since her junior year of high school. The only steady relationship she has had has been with her two cats. Since her parents didn't believe her, Marcy moved to Everlasting, Maine which is a quaint little town full of paranormal beings. Marcy works at the local coffee shop and one morning she has the sudden urge to make cupcakes, a lot of cupcakes. Nicholas comes to Everlasting as an instructor and part-time member of the fire department. He feels that there are things about the inhabitants of the town that he doesn't know just as there is something about him that they don't know. The first time that Marcy and Nicholas meet both are struck speechless and Marcy just knows it is her curse at work. While she is trying to sort things out the town starts being subjected to random fires and Marcy is led to believe that they may be connected to her. What will it take to clear the curse? Who put the curse on her to begin with? How are the fires related? Enjoy reading the book to learn the answers. This was my first book I've read in this series, and I enjoyed reading this ARC that I received via Booksprout. This is about Marcy Lewis who is cursed and works at Witch's Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery, and Nicholas Logan the new firefighter in town who come together to investigate the arson cases that are occurring in town. This story ties into the other books that are written about the people in the (Un)Lucky Valley area. We have the wacky Aunt Polly and other characters that were introduced in previous books. Overall, I found the main characters and their interactions along with the mystery an engaging read. I volunteer to review this ARC.
