The characters were wonderful...I really came to care for them. As an event in my lifetime, I watched as Hurricane Katrina swept through Lousianna on the TV, night afeter night, thinking how horrible for the victims, and how fortunate I am to live where there is so little natural disaster.
Ms. Rhodes put me right there, no screen between me and the hurricane and the people in New Orleans. I dreaded learning the outcomes, knowing the storm that was coming. I found myself gasping for breath in the attic, as I tore through the last chapters.
I loved this book. Bravo, Ms. Rhodes!

Best book ever I don't have this app but I do have this book in fact this book inspires me to be a writer this book should be a movie Cuz I wanna see what mama-ya-ya looks like. This book has everything dramatic sadness love and even some education. This book is the reason I love school even if I know I'm stupid but that's not this point this book would be amazing if it was a movie like I said it has everything . The detail would be hard though but still be a nice movie I have never in my life said this before about a book
