Amber and Lincoln had been friends for quite a while but never professed how they really felt about each other. They just knew they could release their feelings with steamy encounters. She was the CEO at the ranch and he did all the maintenance and refurb of the cabins. When the guy from her college days starts to move in on her, a battle of wits takes place, including a bet. The characters are terrific, with determination, great backstories and sometimes fiery banter. The storyline has drama, surprises, great friends and family, pregnancy, steam, panic attacks, job offers and much more. Loved the chemistry between Amber and Lincoln, the showdowns with her brother and the realization of how much they wanted each other. Great ending and now for her best friends story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Amber and Lincoln engaged in quite a dance as their romance unfolds. The chemistry was spark filled and the banter snappy. The story kept me entertained with an enticing combination of deep emotion, drama, heart, tension, angst and heat. As a whole I thought it was very good if at times frustrating read. I am freely posting a frank review.

This is the pairing I feel like I’ve been waiting for almost from the beginning. And, holy mackerel! Amber and Lincoln made me work for their happy ever after. Their story is an emotional rollercoaster in every sense of the word. Their push- me / pull- you dynamic was crazy- making to me, but the dramatic tension and angst created were literary gold. This was another book I could not read fast enough. I HAD to know how Amber was going to solve her dilemma. And now that these two have been sorted out, I'm positively giddy to know that we haven't seen the end of Silver Springs Ranch. And I already can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anya grew up listening to Cardinals baseball and reading anything she could get her hands on.
