Rex was such a cinnamon roll - he just wants to take care of those he loves, and he's just the sweetest. BUT if you hurt Kara, he's going to put those 4 arms to good use and unªlivɛ you! Poor Kara has the worst luck - kidnapped twice! But she's got some backbone to her and gives as good as she gets! I loved it!

I enjoyed this story. It was just one story from this anthology- Robin O'Connor's story of Kara and Rex. Kara had been kidnapped off Earth a very long time ago, resuced then kidnapped again. But now she is smarter on how to deal with things and much calmer. Rex was also taken as a teenager and forced to fight. I liked how she took control of her self. I liked how he took his time in getting Kara to trust him. Once they are to the point of physical contact WOW the bedrooms scenes are hot! The story was not filled with many characters but it worked. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good sci-fi! Enticed by the Alien Chef by Robin OConnor Rex thought he had a pest problem in the alley behind the bar. Instead it was a small human female hiding there. Just seeing her made him want to protect her. After being kidnapped twice, Kara knew better than to trust any alien but the chef seemed different. Something about him made her feel safe. This novella has steamy alien romance and fast-paced action. I didn’t want it to end.
